Qualifications

• Hands-on personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence support with dignity.
• Safe mobility and transfer skills using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and transfer equipment per care plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive home care that keeps seniors safe, comfortable, and respected.
• Prepare meals, provide medication reminders per care plan, assist with light housekeeping and companionship.
• Notice needs, offer choices, encourage participation, and take initiative while respecting client preferences.
• Maintain accurate shift notes detailing care provided and client response.
• Communicate promptly with scheduling for any concerns or changes in condition.

Always Best Care is seeking experienced Level III caregivers throughout Napa and Solano County. This role is ideal for caregivers who are confident providing hands‑on personal care and supporting clients with more involved daily needs.

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

We’re looking for caregivers who can demonstrate:

• Hands‑on personal care experience: Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care while protecting each client’s dignity.
• Safe mobility and transfer skills: Experience with gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other transfer equipment, following the care plan and required training.
• Dementia care skills: Patience with repeated questions, thoughtful redirection, and a calm approach when a client is confused or resistant to care.
• Sound observation and communication: Recognizing changes in a client’s condition and promptly reporting concerns to the office.
• Strong documentation habits: Accurate task completion and detailed shift notes that describe the care provided and the client’s response.
• Dependability: Consistent availability, punctuality, and clear communication with the scheduling team.

A valid driver’s license and a registered, insured vehicle are required.

HOW YOU’LL SUPPORT OUR CLIENTS

Provide attentive care that helps seniors feel safe, comfortable, and respected at home. Along with personal care and mobility assistance, you’ll prepare meals, offer medication reminders according to the care plan, assist with light housekeeping, and provide companionship.

PAY, SUPPORT & OPPORTUNITY

Level III starting pay: $19.00 per hour

Couple care opportunities $25 per hour
