Job summary

Responsibilities include performing FCAW/SMAW/GMAW/GTAW welding in all positions, following the construction method, and maintaining a clean work area while coordinating with foreman and sub-trades on schedules and safety.

Qualifications

• Welding FCAW or SMAW experience is required.
• Must read and interpret blueprints and data sheets.
• Strict adherence to safety policies and stop-work authority.
• Tolerance for loud environments and varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Welds and repairs steel structures per plans and specs.
• Perform FCAW, SMAW, SMAW, GTAW welding in all positions as needed.
• Follow construction methods and schedules; manage workload and cleanliness.
• Inspect finished work against drawings as first level QA/Safety check.
