Job summary

MISTRAS is seeking dedicated Level II RT/CR Weld Quality Technicians in the Midland, TX area for full-time roles. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates. The duties include radiography inspections, data reporting, and training RT assistants in procedures per customer requirements.

Candidates must have Level II RT/UT/MT/PT/CR qualifications, a high school diploma or GED, and valid TWIC and state cards. Passing DISA background and drug/alcohol screening is required.

Qualifications

• Sufficient classroom hours and OJT for Level II RT, MT, PT, UTT and/or CR Weld Quality.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have valid TWIC card.
• Must have valid state card.
• Must pass DISA background and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping/vessel inspections in a lay down yard using Radiography and report findings.
• Train RT assistant, run the film and grade the film per customer procedures.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; interpret results per codes/specs.
• Familiar with methods; guide trainees and NDT level I personnel.
• Organize and report results of NDT tests.
• Generate NDT data, organize and report findings.
• Other duties as assigned.
