Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. seeks an experienced NDT RT Technician to perform radiographic inspections and evaluate weld quality according to codes and customer specs. Must have industrial radiography experience and Level II RT certification, with a valid State Card and TWIC.

Travel, overtime, and safety compliance are expected. Responsibilities include setting up RT equipment, interpreting images, and preparing inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Industrial radiography experience required.
• Level II RT certification required.
• Must have valid State Card.
• State Radiographer Card and/or IRRSP certification preferred.
• Experience evaluating weld quality and interpreting RT results.
• Knowledge of applicable welding and inspection codes.
• Ability to read technical drawings, procedures, and specifications.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must have Valid driver's license.
• Must have TWIC Card.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass DISA background and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform Radiographic Testing (RT) inspections on welded components and industrial assets.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate RT equipment.
• Interpret radiographic images and evaluate weld quality.
• Identify weld discontinuities such as porosity and cracks.
• Verify compliance with ASME, AWS, API, and customer requirements.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation.
• Follow radiation safety and company safety procedures.
• Support outage, maintenance, fabrication, and inspection projects.
• Work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
