Job summary

MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking Level II PAUT Technicians willing to travel throughout the United States to cover call-out, projects and turnarounds as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating equipment, performing Phased Array tests, interpreting results, and guiding trainees. Minimum requirements include PAUT certification per SNT-TC1A, Level II experience, a high school diploma, TWIC and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a specialized NDT program meeting SNT-TC1A.
• Prior Level II certification on Phased Array or PAUT per SNT-TC1A.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Mistras is now hiring Level II PAUT Technicians willing to travel throughout the U.S. to cover call-out, projects and turnarounds as needed.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Set up and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests with appropriate NDT technique: Phased Array
• Interpret, evaluate and document results.
• Must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the method in which certified and capable of directing the work of trainees and Level I personnel.
• Must be familiar with the codes, standards and other contractual documents that control the method as utilized by the employer.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following is required: PAUT
• Prior certification as an UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required; Phased Array, UTSW
• High School graduate or equivalent required.

• Valid Driver’s License
