Job summary

Acuren is recruiting for full-time Level II RT/MT/PT/UTT Techs for our St. Louis Park, MN location. The role involves testing to detect defects using NDT methods, developing examination techniques, and evaluating results.

State or IRRSP card is required, with extensive ASME/API knowledge and strong safety compliance. Candidates should have a high school diploma (some college preferred), current NDT certifications, and the ability to interact with clients.

Qualifications

• Must have all required QA documents (proof of classroom hours, proof of experience hours, 40HR Radiation Safety Training certification and State or IRRSP card).
• Technical background in NDT/RT with current NDT certifications in RT/MT/PT/UTT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection.
• Apply testing criteria per specifications and evaluate results.
• Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on client engagements and escalate issues as needed.
• Review asset documentation and operational data including inspection data and auditing activities.
• Prepare project reports with descriptions, conclusions and recommendations.
• Extensive knowledge of ASME and API requirements for continued serviceability.
