Job summary
Greenstar Landscaping & Irrigation Co is seeking an Irrigation Technician in Miami to maintain, repair, and upgrade irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. You will handle Level Two repairs, troubleshoot electrical issues, install pumps and smart controllers, and perform wet checks with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
We offer a competitive hourly rate ($19–$23) with overtime, weekly pay, a benefits package, PTO, fuel allowance, tips, and a company vehicle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of documented irrigation industry experience and proficiency required.
- Driver's License with clean driving record.
- English required, bilingual a plus.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and use a wire tracker.
- Perform wet checks, reset timers, and ensure the irrigation system is performing properly.
- Install pumps, timers, valves, and heads for irrigation systems.
- Understand basic pipe sizing and irrigation design.
- Valve and manifold replacement and rebuilding.
- Ability to work regular physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
