Summary:
National Power, LLC is actively seeking a Level 4 DC Technician. Under the general direction of and reporting to the Broadband Service Manager, the Level 4 DC Installer will focus on testing, inspection, and quality assurance of DC power equipment, including verification of circuits on live power distribution, comprehensive testing procedures, and system evaluation. The role involves both testing new installations and inspecting existing systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive testing and inspection of DC power systems and equipment.
• Performing quality assurance reviews of new installations and existing systems.
• Executing testing procedures to verify compliance with industry standards.
• Performing work on live equipment or circuits without supervision.
• Testing DC Controller Software and verifying configuration.
• Overseeing DC Power transition work (live equipment cut-over).
• Inspecting telecom battery installations.
• Verifying circuits on power sources.
• Supervising and inspecting work activities on energized equipment.
• Verifying wiring connections and modifications.
• Analyzing job specifications and engineering drawings.
• Preparing inspection reports and maintaining records.
• Following EHS guidelines and communicating with project management.
• Providing technical guidance to inspection crews.

Eligibility requirements:

• Willingness to travel approximately 100%.
• Ability to work different shifts, including swing shifts.
• Physical ability to lift at least 75 lbs., maneuver batteries up to 750 lbs., and perform related physical tasks.
• Ability to climb ladders, work on ladders, and stand for long periods.
• Exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations.
• Work with computers and screens.

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Minimum 6 years experience in DC power equipment installation.
• Minimum 4 years experience with wiring and connections on DC power equipment or telecom batteries.

Compensation and Benefits include hourly pay ranging from $30 to $40, paid time off, insurance, 401(k), HSA, FSA, and other perks.

Additional info: Criminal background check and drug screening required. This is a remote position requiring work from home.
