Job summary

Small People invites applications for an Early Years Educator Apprenticeship at Level 3. You will train on the job, paired with a buddy, and work toward becoming a key person in a nursery setting.

You will attend training days with Realise and spend other days at your allocated nursery, gaining practical experience and on-the-job learning toward the Level 3 EY Educator apprenticeship standard. The program lasts 14 months.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the statutory EYFS framework and regulatory requirements – Desirable
• Fluent in written and spoken English – Essential
• Passionate about learning and developing into a new role – Essential

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in providing high standards of compliance, care and education for children.
• Contribute ideas to planning ensuring children receive high quality learning and development.
• Liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
• Adhere to nursery policies and health and safety procedures.
