Job summary

Caring Kindergartens Ltd seeks dedicated childcare practitioners to join our team. You will work as a key worker, observing and assessing child progress, planning diverse play activities, and ensuring high-quality interactions that foster learning and development within EYFS.

We require a level 3 childcare qualification, strong EYFS knowledge, and excellent English communication. DBS clearance and safeguarding awareness are essential, with prior early years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare qualification required.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication in English, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices and DBS clearance.
• Experience in an early years setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team and act as key worker for a group of children.
• Observe, record and assess progress and development with photographic evidence.
• Deliver a wide range of play experiences supporting physical, intellectual and emotional development.
• Plan activities aligned with next steps, observations and interests within EYFS.
• Promote children's self-esteem, confidence and a sense of competence.
• Maintain hygiene standards and adhere to Caring Kindergartens policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to build a positive nursery team.
