Job summary

TensorWave Inc. is building a level 2 technical support team and seeks a hands-on Technical Support Engineer.

You will diagnose complex Linux, Kubernetes, Slurm, and GPU-related issues, write runbooks, and collaborate with customer engineers to drive incidents to resolution. You will shape the new escalation paths, tooling, and standards, while contributing to the knowledge base and supporting 24x7 coverage as part of the rotation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Linux systems administration, SRE, or technical support with diagnostic ownership.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting depth: system, networking, storage, logs, kernel interactions.
• Experience with Kubernetes: cluster/pod state, scheduling, placement, and diagnose workload issues.
• Experience with a batch scheduler in shared compute environments, ideally Slurm.
• Scripting ability in Python or Bash to automate diagnosis.
• Experience with incident tracking systems like JIRA, PagerDuty, or equivalents.
• Excellent written communication to explain technical findings under time pressure.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Own level 2 tickets escalated from the global operations center, driving to resolution or handoff to engineering.
• Diagnose issues across Linux hosts, GPU health, Kubernetes workloads, Slurm scheduling, storage, and networking.
• Investigate degraded/inference workloads using logs, metrics, and telemetry; communicate findings to customers.
• Triage GPU/node hardware faults and coordinate with data center ops for remediation.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams, matching technical level and maintaining updates.
• Write and maintain runbooks for level 1 resolution and identify gaps for new runbooks.
• Build diagnostic scripts/tools to shorten investigations and reduce repeat work.
• Contribute to customer-facing knowledge base to reduce recurring tickets.
• Partner with technical account managers on account health and trends.
• Participate in on-call rotation and help move toward 24x7 coverage.
• Provide engineering/product feedback with evidence-based insights.
