Linamar Corporation in Fletcher, NC is seeking a Level 2 – Maintenance Semi Skilled to perform semi-skilled maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. You will maintain preventative maintenance records, manage lubricant inventories, and operate a forklift as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma with 1–2 years of experience and preference for apprenticeship completion. On-site work with opportunities for training and advancement within a global manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance experience or entry to mid-level capability.
• Able to interpret mechanical, structural, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Capable of using precision measuring tools and evaluating part conditions.
• Read and review drawings to understand operations and identify malfunctions.
• Able to discuss work orders and coordinate with teammates and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Perform semi-skilled maintenance on mechanical/electrical systems.
• Maintain systems for preventative maintenance and record readings.
• Manage oil and coolant inventory and forklift operations.
• Cover Level 1 responsibilities and assist with larger equipment work.
• Participate in training and stay current with new equipment and safety.
