Saft is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and repair production equipment at our North Carolina site under supervision. You will troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems, replace gears and belts, and perform routine maintenance to meet specifications.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of experience, a high school diploma (associates a plus), and the ability to read test tools like calipers and micrometers; forklift operation certification may be required.

• 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree a plus.
• Analytical ability to troubleshoot electro‑mechanical equipment.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoots production and facilities equipment and repairs or replaces gears, cams, chain drives, etc.
• Performs non-complex mechanic tasks as directed.
• Adjusts switches, installs hoses, lubricates belts, and performs routine maintenance.
• May assist other mechanics in various tasks and unscheduled maintenance duties.
• Maintains workplace and equipment in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Ensures products meet specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices.
