Audio Video Experts in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Level II Installer: Integrated Systems Technician to join our high-end installation team. The role involves independent service calls, reading schematics, rack construction, and ensuring every job meets AVExperts’ standards.

You will work with a 70% product-line understanding, perform cable management to a 5:1 load standard, and handle small jobs with minimal callbacks. Requires 2–4 years AV experience and a clean driving record.

Level II Installer: Integrated Systems Technician

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado | Pay Range: $25.00 – $32.00/hr

Audio Video Experts (AVEperts) is Western Colorado’s finest high-end, custom installation company. We specialize in residential and commercial systems, delivering clean modern design, warmth, and top-tier functionality. We are seeking driven, focused professionals who share our passion for excellence to join our team.

The Role: The Level II Installer works independently, handling service calls and portions of larger installations without supervision. You read schematics, manage rack construction, and ensure every job meets AVExpert's high standards. This level aligns with CEDIA IST and AVIXA CTS standards and typically spans 1 to 3 years before advancement to Level III.

What You'll Do:

You will deliver neat, labeled wiring and communicate field challenges proactively to clients and the office. You are expected to understand up to 70% of our product line - how devices function, how they are configured, and how they are installed for long-term reliability. You will read AVExperts floor plans and schematics, execute cable management to a 5:1 static load standard, and complete small jobs and service calls with zero callbacks.

Requirements:

2-4 years of AV of related experience required. CEDIA of AVIXA (InfoComm) certification is a plus. IT background and basic programming experience valued. Must be fit to apply - able to lift 100 lbs, work 8-10 hour days, and safely operate ladders, man lifts, saws, and drills. Clean driving record required. Background check and drug screen required.
