Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Level Two Machinist to operate 2–5 axis CNC cells and standalone machines. Responsibilities include basic setup, fixture and tool preparation, CNC program offsets, and quality inspection using height and air gauges.

Typical 2–4 years of experience; GED/HS diploma preferred. The position is 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:15pm-10:45pm) in Hydraulic Fitting, with pay range $26.00–$39.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic fixture loading and securing
• Knowledge of G and M codes for CNC offsets
• Shop Math including geometry and tool geometry
• Reading prints in English and applying dimensions

Responsibilities

• Perform basic setup operations for fixtures, tools, and CNC programs
• Maintain product quality by adjusting CNC offsets
• Perform inspection tasks with intermediate complexity
• Run production on multiple machines (primary & secondary)
