Job summary

Lamb Weston in Boardman, OR is seeking an L2 CADRE Operator Trainee. The role focuses on setting up and operating machine tools, diagnosing malfunctions, replacing parts, and maintaining equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and GMP.

You will work with a team to ensure efficient production, perform routine maintenance, and document process information while following plant rules and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Sanitation qualification required or training provided.
• Lock-out/Tag-out qualification required or training provided.
• Read, understand, and obey all plant rules and safety procedures.
• Practice proper body mechanics and safe lifting techniques.
• Know hazards and safety procedures; follow company rules.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to fabricate or repair equipment.
• Observe machines to diagnose malfunctions and determine need for adjustment or repair.
• Replace defective parts with new parts and reassemble, then test run to verify correction.
• Maintain equipment and keep daily logs of pertinent information (defects, shutdowns, etc.).
• Follow GMPs and wear required PPE; participate in AMD activities.
