Morrie's West Bend Honda in West Bend, WI is hiring a Level 1 Technician. You will diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and braking systems, and perform testing to ensure parts are secure and working properly.

Responsibilities include driving for test runs, using diagnostics, following checklists, inspecting hoses, belts, and fuel systems, and drafting repair estimates. Entry-level friendly, with growth opportunities within the dealership.

Qualifications

• Entry-level welcome with working knowledge of cars preferred.
• Able to perform basic diagnostics and repairs with standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes and related systems.
• Test to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning.
• Drive the vehicle for testing or use diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing.
• Follow a checklist to inspect all critical parts.
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes and other components.
• Use power tools to remove bolts and rebuild brakes as needed.
• Write vehicle damage repair estimates.
