Job description

Level 1 Process Technician, 1st shift, 8am-3pm, $20/hr BOE

Job Description:

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Process Technician will assist in setting up and operating production equipment, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Production Floor Duties:

1. Material Handling: Prepare materials for processing and keep machines filled.
2. Regrind: Recycle excess materials promptly.
3. Set-up (Level 1): Assist in moving & loading tools, set up production tooling and auxiliary equipment, and pack finished products for shipment.
4. Tool/Mold Maintenance: Wipe down tools and inspect them.
5. Preventive Maintenance: Perform maintenance on molding machines and related equipment.
6. Facility Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
7. Machine Operation Backup: Support machine operation as needed.
8. Pick-ups & Deliveries: Handle internal transportation tasks.

Office Duties:

• Perform clerical tasks and assist with projects and ISO documentation.

Shipping & Receiving:

• Handle general shipping and receiving responsibilities.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
• Proof of US citizenship and drug screening required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
