Job description

Level 1 Process Technician - 1st Shift (8am-3pm) - $20/hr BOE

Job Description:

This position, under the direction of the Plant Manager, will assist in setting up and operating production equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Production Floor Duties:

1. Material Handling: Prepare materials for processing and keep machines filled.
2. Regrind Materials: Regrind excess materials promptly.
3. Set-up (Level 1): Assist with moving and loading tools, set up production tooling and auxiliary equipment, and pack completed products for shipment.
4. Tool/Mold Maintenance: Wipe down tools and inspect them.
5. Preventive Maintenance: Perform maintenance on molding machines and related equipment.
6. Facility Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of the facility.
7. Machine Operation Backup: Support machine operation as needed.
8. Pick-ups & Deliveries: Handle deliveries and pickups.

Office Duties:

• Perform clerical work and assist with projects/ISO documentation.

Shipping & Receiving:

• Handle general shipping and receiving tasks.

Qualifications:

• Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Proof of US citizenship and drug screening required.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
