Centurion Health is seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide Level 1 at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center in Pacific, MO. Under supervision, you will administer medications as prescribed, document outcomes and adverse effects, and ensure patient safety within a correctional healthcare environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and preferred Level 1 Medication Aide certification with insulin certification being a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/AED certification preferred or required.
• Certification as Level 1 Medication Aide preferred; insulin certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as prescribed under the direction of Nursing leadership and documents effectiveness and adverse effects.
• Maintains and updates medication administration records and reports any issues.
• Completes required continuing education to maintain certifications.
• Supports training and onboarding of staff as needed.

Pay Ranges from $20-$23 per hour + shift diff, depending on years of experience!Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medication Aide Level 1 to join our team at Missouri Eastern Correctional Center located in Pacific, Missouri.The Medication Aide Level 1 (MO) Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing / nursing designee, administers medications as prescribed; and documents the medication effectiveness and any noted adverse actions or side effects.High school diploma or GED required.Preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide (mo.tmutest.com).Insulin certification preferred.Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File.
