Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Level 1 Desktop Support Technician. The role is on-site 5 days per week in Tecumseh, NE. Day-to-day tasks include providing technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers, operating systems, storage, cloud services, networking, and related technology issues. We seek someone with well-rounded IT experience across multiple technologies and workstreams. The technician will handle customer support inquiries, resolve technical issues, and ensure efficient workflow in the help desk environment. Excellent communication and people skills are required, along with prior experience in customer support.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of help desk experience
• Experience troubleshooting Windows 11
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers
• Mail flow and Exchange troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of networking, VPN, and DNS
• Information Security experience
• Technical support and troubleshooting skills
• Help Desk and Customer Support skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Relevant certifications or technical training are a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role required
• Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is preferred
