Job summary

SGT in Dallas is seeking a Level 1 Cable Technician, an entry-level role with on-site responsibilities and 100% travel to customer locations. The technician will assist with basic cable tasks, supporting various company functions and site operations.

On-the-job training, lab and computer-based training will be provided to gain additional knowledge and certifications, with opportunities to advance through higher levels.

Job Summary:

Level 1 Cable Technician is a training or entry level position within the organization. Technician will aid and perform entry level tasks related to company functions; it requires low level to no proficiency of activities. Technicians will be given on-the-job training as well as lab and computer-based training to gain additional knowledge of tasks and certification. Technicians will work at SGT and customer locations at the direction of their superiors and can advance to higher levels through advanced certifications and job knowledge. This is a 100% travel position.

• Ability to climb, crawl, and stand for multiple hours.
• Ability to work outdoors on ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in variable temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to work with/around electrical wires and/or ESD products.
