Job summary

SGT is seeking a Level II Telecommunications Technician to join our team. This 100% travel position supports installation, testing, and maintenance of fiber, copper, and IT equipment for customers at on-site locations or SGT sites.

Candidates should be able to handle cables, follow procedures, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various environments. Flexible work-from-home options are available in addition to field travel.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to roll out data cabling.

Responsibilities

• Test fibers and CAT6 cables.
• Fiber and Copper terminate, test, and label.
• Install IT and telecom equipment for customers on-premises or at SGT locations.
• Lacing power and dressing data cabling.
• Run data cables according to Cable Runsheet.
