Job summary

Amsive LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Bolingbrook, IL production lines. The role focuses on proactive maintenance, quick repairs, and collaboration with operators to keep high-speed equipment running smoothly. Strong mechanical and electrical skills are essential, with English fluency and Spanish preferred.

Shifts run 3pm–3am or 3am–3pm, with overtime as workload dictates. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to maintain production equipment at optimum performance.
• Work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate in a team to meet productivity goals.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Assist line operators during changeovers and set ups.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform tasks.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and company policies.

Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Work Schedule: 3pm - 3am or 3am - 3pm, some OT as workload requires

Pay: Starting pay at least $26.00 per hour based on experience/ skills

Maintenance Technician conducts proactive machine maintenance, shared machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service to ensure optimum productivity of equipment.

Skills needed for role

• Maintenance experience in mailing, packing machines/production machines.
• Technical knowledge of high-speed production equipment, mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Production maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong conflict / issue resolution skills with a strong aptitude fordecision-making.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required.
• Bilingual Spanish in reading, writing and speaking preferred.
• Proficient with internet research, MS Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to operate a PC.

What you will be doing

• Provides proactive support in maintaining production equipment, helping to ensure that production machines are operating at optimum levels.
• Technical knowledgeto work on high-speed production equipment, mechanical and electrical equipment, with some computer operations.
• Works in a team-oriented environment to achieve productivity goals.
• Performs emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Shares set up responsibilities with operators for scheduled production runs.
• Requires mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair production machines.
• Must become knowledgeable with operating system computers on each production machine.
• Support all production needs as necessary including operating equipment, relieving breaks and lunches and leading and assisting on line changeovers.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, Job tickets and work orders to perform required jobs /maintenance and service.
• Comply with OSHA safety and health rules.
• Focus on safety and urgency while supporting production.

Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment

Security Clearance

Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
