Job summary

Guitar Center is seeking a Lessons Lead to ensure a great experience for customers and students by selling lesson and rehearsal packages, answering questions, and giving tours of the Lessons facility.

The role requires 3+ years in musical instruction (or related admin/retail), the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. An Associate’s Degree and familiarity with Guitar Center systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in musical instruction (admin, retail non-instruction, etc.)
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Sell lesson and rehearsal packages and answer customer questions.
• Provide tours of the Lessons facility to customers.
• Increase student count by driving sales and promotions.
• Communicate with parents and students to ensure a positive experience.
• Coordinate lesson schedules with instructors’ availability.
• Maintain and grow curriculum sales.
• Ensure systems are functioning properly.
• Manage lesson and rehearsal schedules for the facility.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
