Job summary

VASA Fitness is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor (Les Mills Formats). The role pays $21.00-$28.00 per hour DOE, with compensation for prep time and class time over 60 minutes. The position emphasizes high energy instruction, Safety and member engagement in a fast-paced studio environment.

Primary duties include leading classes, ensuring VUME standards, and delivering an uplifting member experience. Certification in Les Mills formats, CPR/AED, and related specialties are preferred, with

Qualifications

• 0-1 year experience in personal training, small group, or group fitness
• NCCA-accredited PT or group fitness certification is required
• CPR/AED certification is required
• Current certification for the applicable Les Mills format
• Yoga or cycle certifications are preferred
• Strong communication and leadership for group classes
• Able to travel locally for training and support

Responsibilities

• Lead high-energy Les Mills format group fitness classes
• Provide safe, effective instruction with options for all fitness levels
• Maintain equipment, room setup, and class environment
• Engage and uplift participants to foster community
• Promote classes to retain and attract new members

Education

NCCA-accredited Personal Training or Group Fitness Certification

Yoga Certification (200 or 500 Hour RYT)

Cycle Certifications (Schwinn, Spinning, Beatboss, AFAA Indoor Cycling)

CPR/AED Certification

Les Mills/Applicable Format Certification

General knowledge of kinesiology/exercise science

Willingness to travel locally for support/training
