Asimov, a Boston-based biotech startup, seeks a Scientist to join the Lentiviral Vector Cell Line Development team. You will engineer stable producer cell lines and drive upstream process optimization for LV therapeutics in a fast-paced setting.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration, scale-up across Ambr15/Ambr250, and development of LV analytical assays, with a focus on data-driven design and rigorous record-keeping.

Competenze

• PhD or higher in a related field with hands-on LV production in industry.
• Experience in LV transductions and assays (ddPCR/qPCR, flow cytometry).
• Experience with Ambr15/Ambr250 or benchtop bioreactors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Perform LV stable producer cell line development including transfection, pool generation, cloning and cell banking.
• Assess LV preparations for quantity, potency and infectivity.
• Support novel workflows and applications in LV CLD.
• Contribute to projects on viral vector therapeutics with quality attributes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Synthetic Biology and Process Development teams.
• Assist scale-up and characterization across Ambr systems and LV analytics.
• Design experiments, analyze data, troubleshoot, and maintain records.
• Represent LV CLD on project teams and communicate results clearly.
