We are looking for a team member to join our winning team at Lenny's in Humble. We are seeking energetic individuals to join our dayshift team working from 10:30am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri. These hours can change depending on business needs.

Responsibilities include:

1. Setting the example for new teammates on how to care for and serve customers.
2. Preparing Lenny’s highest quality sandwiches for in-store, online, and pickup customers.
3. Ringing orders out on the cash register.
4. Taking orders by phone.
5. Filling and inspecting online orders.
6. Promoting cooperative effort, team spirit, and positive morale.
7. Delivering excellent customer service, Lennys Way!
8. Performing daily checklists and periodic checks for safety of equipment and ensuring food is cooked and stored properly; notifying the manager of any issues.
9. Properly labeling and putting away food deliveries.
10. Learning to serve in all roles on the team (such as vegetable preparation, cookie and bread baking, slicing sandwich meat, wrapping sandwiches, grilling hot sandwiches, cashier, and daily cleaning).

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

1. Demonstration of sufficient reading and math skills to read checklists and participate in on-the-job training.
2. Previous restaurant experience not required; positive attitude and initiative are required, punctuality is essential.
3. Excellent customer service skills to treat patrons like family.
4. Strong communication skills to work within a team and keep leaders informed about customers, food preparation, and store cleanliness.
5. Willingness to learn and grow daily!

Physical Demands and Work Environment at Lenny's:

Stand the entire shift. Frequently use hands or fingers to handle fresh or prepared foods, objects, tools, or controls. Stand; walk; sit; stoop; bend; shake, stir, and pour; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Utilize vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Perform duties while regularly exposed to sharp objects, slippery floors, steam, high temperatures, humidity, and cold. Regularly come into contact with water, meat products, poultry products, and produce items. Frequently wash hands.
