Job summary

6-month contract (Banking)

We are seeking an experienced Lending Specialist to support loan processing and deal execution within a banking environment. This role manages the full loan lifecycle from approval through closing and ongoing servicing.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage deal pipeline and ensure timely closings with Relationship Managers
• Coordinate and review loan documentation for compliance and accuracy
• Support transaction execution, resolve issues, and ensure risk controls
• Partner with operations for loan booking, funding, and servicing (payments, draws, payoffs)
• Review and finalize loan documents for closing
• Communicate proactively with lenders on any pre-closing issues

Requirements

• 5-7 years of Lending Assistant or Loan Processor experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems (nCino preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume environment

• Experience with Commercial Real Estate and C&I loan documentation
