PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $26.35-$32.12 hourly. The full Pay Range is $21.65-$38.03 hourly. hourly.

Impact You’ll Make

As a Lending Solutions Specialist, you’ll help members achieve their financial goals by delivering personalized, consultative lending solutions across consumer, real estate, and business products. You’ll build trust, uncover needs, and identify cross-sell opportunities through meaningful conversations, guiding members from application to funding. In this high-volume call center environment, your curiosity and resilience will drive strong results and deeper relationships. Your work directly supports loan growth and overall member engagement at BECU.

Schedule Expectations
  • Full-time schedule within operating hours of Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
  • Rotating Saturday support (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) shared across the team
  • When scheduled for Saturday, you’ll receive a flex day during the week (half or full day depending on hours worked).
  • Blended contact center environment with primarily inbound calls and outbound outreach as needed.
  • Early tenure schedules are assigned, with opportunities for preferred shifts based on performance and tenure.
  • Ongoing schedule opportunities are determined through a shift bid process based on business need, performance, and tenure. Schedules are subject to change and are not guaranteed.
What You’ll Do
  • Deliver Member Support: Manage primarily inbound calls while supporting outbound campaigns when volume allows in a blended environment. Resolve member concerns with urgency, professionalism, and follow-through to ensure a positive member experience.
  • Identify Needs & Recommend Solutions: Review credit, ask thoughtful questions, identify financial needs, and recommend lending and other BECU solutions that deepen relationships and deliver long-term member value.
  • Own the Lending Process: Complete lending applications, gather required documentation, ensure accuracy, and guide loans from origination through funding while achieving strong application-to-funding results.
  • Manage Volume & Pipeline: Balance a high-volume pipeline, including follow-ups and outbound outreach, maintaining focus and consistency across multiple touchpoints.
  • Provide Lending Expertise: Serve as a subject matter resource for consumer, business, and real estate lending products and processes while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and lending requirements.
  • Partner & Collaborate: Work with internal teams to improve processes, enhance member experience, and drive growth.
Compensation Transparency

We believe in fair and equitable pay for all employees. The listed pay range reflects our commitment to both internal equity and market competitiveness:

  • Lending Solutions Specialist: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour

Offers are typically made within this range, based on experience, skills, and alignment with internal team compensation. Please note that starting pay generally does not exceed the range midpoint.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of financial service sales experience, or three years combined experience with outbound sales and financial services.
  • Comply with SAFE Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Desired Qualifications
  • Full-time hours required, with additional hours as necessary.
  • Experience in a contact center, financial services, or sales environment that requires managing a high-volume pipeline of member interactions.
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and how to manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills to communicate.
  • Successful completion of the consumer loans and member service training program with a minimum of one year of experience as a Member Consultant (including loan interviewing, funding and processing) within BECU or another financial institution.
  • Effective analytical skills and math skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience in originating Lending Applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of all RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, ECOA, and HUD rules and regulations.
