Job summary

Trepp, Inc. is seeking a curious Product Analyst to support the Lending product team in New York City. The role focuses on data analysis, requirements gathering, and translating client feedback into product decisions within a hybrid NYC office.

You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and client-facing teams to surface insights, track key metrics, and support the roadmap with data-backed recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 1–3 years in product, business, or data analyst roles (SaaS/fintech data experience a plus).
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data to derive insights.
• Excel proficiency; working SQL knowledge or willingness to learn quickly.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze usage patterns and performance metrics for Lending products to surface trends and improvement opportunities.
• Document clear requirements and user stories; collaborate with engineering to clarify details.
• Conduct market and competitive research on lending, CRE, and fintech trends to inform product decisions.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking adoption, retention, and engagement.
• Coordinate with product, engineering, and client success to log feature requests and track roadmap progress.
• Assist with data validation and data quality checks to ensure dataset accuracy.
• Maintain product documentation, release notes, and internal resources.
