Job summary

United Community Banks Inc. seeks a Relationship Manager to provide lending functions in line with bank policies and procedures. Develop customer relationships across deposit products and credit services, supporting all lines of business with referrals and sales opportunities.

You will interview loan applicants, order credit reports, analyze requests, and recommend loan terms. Deliver accurate service while staying compliant and active in community functions and team meetings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in a financial institution is preferred.
• Knowledge of consumer credit structuring and lending practices.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships using a need-based sales approach.
• Interview loan applicants and collect information for loan applications.
• Accept loan applications and notify applicants of decisions.
• Order credit reports and recommend loan terms.
• Review and process lending requests in compliance with policies.
• Maintain compliance with lending regulations and training requirements.
