Job summary

Globus family of brands in travel seeks a Field Sales/Business Development Manager to visit agencies, train staff, and spread the Globus news at industry shows.

This role requires up to 60% travel, including evenings and weekends; you’ll grow sales, monitor competitors, and collaborate with Inside Sales and Marketing.

Preferred residence in Atlanta, the Carolinas or Tennessee; a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Developing new business within assigned territory.
• Managing sales accounts using CRM systems.
• Leisure travel product knowledge.
• Business acumen and market strategy awareness.
• Bottom-line accountability.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Generating and increasing sales within the territory.
• Monitoring competitor products, services, marketing, and sales strategies.
• Communicating advertising and sales promotion programs to accounts.
• Recommending changes to revenue opportunities and product/service offerings.
• Achieving established financial objectives.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with Inside Sales.
• Submitting activity and results reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Representing and presenting at agency trainings and industry shows.
