Job summary

City of Newnan is seeking a full-time Leisure Services Coordinator to help manage and operate community facilities and events. The role supports the new Leisure Services Department as it grows to serve residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, coordinating tours, and promoting city-sponsored programs, events, and rental facilities. A university degree or related credential is required, with at least 1 year coordinating public facilities and a strong teamwork

Qualifications

• University Degree or Certificate in Leisure Services/Recreation or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in coordinating public facilities.
• Equivalent experience and education.
• Be a highly motivated team player.
• Considerable knowledge of facilities, operations and techniques used in a community recreation program.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other agencies, participants, community leaders and the general public.
• Effective organizing skills.

Responsibilities
