Job summary

Play-Well TEKnologies in Denver, CO is seeking part-time LEGO class instructors to bring hands-on STEM education to kids using LEGO materials. You'll teach a range of concepts, manage classes, and create a fun, safe learning environment.

The role offers flexible afternoons during the school year and full-day options in summer; compensation ranges from $21 to $26 per hour, with pay for setup, travel time, and training.

Qualifications

• Represents Play-Well in a positive and professional manner.
• Completes training programs as required by the Area Manager.
• Understands curriculum to deliver value to diverse participants.
• Manages each class session ensuring safety, engagement and fun.
• Communicates with parents and clients knowledgeably and respectfully.
• Adheres to Play-Well safety procedures and supervision rules.
• Care and upkeep of LEGO teaching kits.
• Responds quickly to management communications.
• Regularly communicates with Area Manager for updates.

Responsibilities

• Teach LEGO classes and camps introducing STEM concepts.
• Ensure safety and engagement of children during sessions.
• Prepare and set up materials for each class or camp.
• Communicate with parents about progress and questions.
• Follow safety and supervision procedures at all times.
