Job summary

The Legislative Affairs Agency in Juneau, Alaska is seeking a full-time Supply Officer to assist with non-IT property control, disposal, and inventory management for the legislature. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Valid Alaska driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, stack and carry supplies, furniture and equipment up to 80 lbs.
• Experience with property control and purchasing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Agency Property Officer with all non-IT state property control and disposal for the legislature and related offices; conduct annual property inventory and maintain records.
• Answer requests and prepare reports about supplies from legislators and legislative staff.
• Issue and deliver office supplies to legislators and staff.
• Supervise supply room activities and employees; set priorities and provide training.
• Perform basic maintenance on copiers and office equipment and support mailroom/warehouse staff as needed.
• Coordinate with the Procurement Officer on staff assignments and new-hire interviews.
