Qualifications

• At least a decade of experience in a legislative organization or a related environment that provides or directs public policy including legal and fiscal analysis.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• A law degree /licensed attorney is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of the Iowa House Democratic Research Staff and administrative employees.
• Provide drafting and research assistance, fiscal analysis of legislation.
• Staff committees for the elected Democratic members of the Iowa House of Representatives.
