Job summary

Arizona State Land Department seeks a Legislative Policy Intern to support its legislative team by monitoring state, local, federal, and tribal government relations. You will draft summaries, track bills, and assist with administrative tasks, meetings, and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the state legislative process and current affairs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Ability to draft summaries and track legislation.

Responsibilities

• Listen to hearings and take notes on bills the department monitors.
• Monitor state legislation impacting the department and communicate updates.
• Prepare summaries and coordinate stakeholder meetings.
• Perform data entry and routine clerical tasks.
