The Florida Legislature in Tallahassee seeks a senior analyst for the Budget Committee, PreK-12 Budget Subcommittee. You advisor and expert for planning budget operating activities, coordinating research and subcommittee reports, and guiding legislation with leadership input.

Experience with PreK-12 appropriations or policy is preferred, and the role requires rigorous analytic skill, strong communication, and the ability to work across offices and stakeholders.

Formación

• A bachelor’s degree and seven years of professional administrative, research, budget, policy analysis, or program planning and evaluation experience.
• A master’s degree can substitute for one year of required experience.
• A doctorate can substitute for two years of required experience.

Responsabilidades

• Direct the overall direction and administration of the budget subcommittee.
• Supervise staff in preparing legislation and subcommittee reports.
• Coordinate subcommittee research projects and interim documents.
• Prepare budget briefings and program alternatives for leadership.
