• Conducts studies and investigations of legislative issues concerning the agency's programs.
• Responds to inquiries from Congress, the Illinois General Assembly and other parties.
• Develops briefings for the Chief on issues affecting the agency.
• Plans and coordinates special projects for the Chief.
