Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers, support selling initiatives, and perform store tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role emphasizes flexibility, strong service, and safety in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, handling cash, stocking merchandise, and assisting with loading purchases. Poultry care and safety are also required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail, farming, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required; ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; basic computer skills; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs; recommend product solutions and add value; provide Legendary Customer Service.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions following company procedures; support merchandising and store tasks.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a safe, positive shopping experience.
• Care for birds and poultry; sanitation of holding tanks and related responsibilities.
• Perform duties such as stocking, pricing changes, merchandising, janitorial tasks, and documentation.
