Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to provide Legendary Customer Experience and support selling initiatives. You’ll be available for varied shifts, handle cash registers, merchandise, and assist customers with loading purchases, while upholding safety and store protocols.

No experience is required, though retail, farming, ranching or pet care knowledge is a plus; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and reading, writing and counting accurately are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures.
• Participate in mandatory freight process and complete Plan-o-gram procedures.
• Assemble merchandise and perform merchandising duties.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of birds and maintain poultry holding tanks.
• Complete all documentation associated with any of the above duties.
