Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and fellow team members, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role supports our GURA approach to greeting customers, uncovering needs, and recommending product solutions.

Team Members should be available for varied hours including nights and weekends; duties include cash handling, merchandising, stocking, and basic safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• No experience required. Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Regardless of education level, Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures as established by Tractor Supply Company.
• Recovery of merchandise and participation in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets).
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate store equipment ( forklift / baler ) as needed.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary customer shopping experience.
