Job summary

Telix Pharmaceuticals seeks an Assistant Director, Legal Transformation & Enablement to lead legal operations, technology enablement, process optimization, and contracting infrastructure. This role bridges Telix Legal & Compliance with enterprise functions and oversees the US team to scale the function and reduce external counsel reliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of combined legal practice and/or legal operations leadership experience.
• In-house pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare company experience preferred.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management platforms and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Experience collaborating with Information Technology through the full software/technology development lifecycle for legal technology solutions.
• Experience with e-billing, AI/legal technology tools, Microsoft 365/SharePoint.
• Budget/forecasting experience for technology or operations initiatives preferred.
• Some direct experience negotiating or reviewing enterprise‑level commercial agreements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the legal operations front door, intake/routing, matter management, contract playbooks, template libraries, knowledge management, and business self-service tools for Legal & Compliance.
• Lead AI-enabled legal workflows and agent design and management, approved prompt libraries, and AI-assisted contract review/drafting with human oversight and privacy/security controls.
• Partner with IT to translate legal operations requirements into system specifications, user stories, workflows, and integration requirements for CLM and related platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and vendors through the full technology delivery lifecycle to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
• Own and mature the department's legal operations metrics and KPI reporting, including contract cycle-time and outside counsel spend visibility.
• Implement and manage e-billing, matter taxonomy, spend reporting, and budget forecasting for legal tech initiatives to reduce external spend.
• Lead structured change management and adoption programs for new legal processes and technology.
• Build and maintain scalable contracting infrastructure and playbooks for high-volume contracting; improve processes.
• Manage vendor relationships and budgets for legal tech and enablement tools; develop business cases and ROI models.
• Manage the Legal Operations Specialist, United States, and coordinate with Australia counterparts.
• Partner with Procurement, IT, Finance, Commercial Ops, and business stakeholders to improve throughput and governance.
• Work with Finance on budget forecasting and financial discipline.
• Support contract negotiation and commercial contracting for procurement and operations matters as needed.
• Own the legal enablement strategy and adoption plans.
• Define adoption benchmarks, stakeholder feedback loops, and change-management plans.
