Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and maintain firm-wide learning, onboarding, and performance enablement programs for attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff. The role partners across HR, legal teams, and technology stakeholders to translate processes into scalable training resources.

You will design curricula, coordinate onboarding schedules, create assessments, and drive adoption of Litify and related systems.

Qualifications

• Develop, coordinate, and continuously improve onboarding programs for attorneys, legal assistants, and support staff.
• Partner with HR, managers, and subject matter experts to create role-specific learning pathways and ramp plans.
• Establish learning milestones, assessments, and readiness criteria for successful transitions.
• Coordinate onboarding schedules, facilitators, technology training, and supporting resources.
• Evaluate onboarding outcomes to improve ramp time and consistency.
• Develop recognition materials and milestones to reinforce program completion.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve firm-wide learning programs including onboarding, role development, continuing education, and compliance training.
• Develop curricula, learning pathways, facilitator materials, job aids, assessments, and reference resources.
• Translate legal and operational processes into practical training materials with SME input.
• Establish delivery methods: instructor-led, recorded learning, self-guided resources, coaching, and hands-on practice.
• Develop and maintain standardized training materials, SOPs, and knowledge bases.
• Provide ongoing coaching and follow-up support beyond structured sessions.
• Track participation, completion, assessments, and adoption indicators; report outcomes to leadership.
