Senior IT Engineer – Legal IT / Professional Services (MSP Must)

Location: Fully Remote (U.S.)

Job Summary

Client is seeking a Senior IT Project Engineer to deliver client-facing IT consulting and infrastructure projects for law firms. This role focuses heavily on project migrations, cloud initiatives, Microsoft 365 implementations, and legal application migrations. The ideal candidate has legal-focused MSP experience, strong technical expertise, and the ability to independently manage projects from planning through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute infrastructure, cloud, application, and Microsoft 365 migration projects.
• Manage client onboarding, system implementations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Support legal technology platforms, including iManage and NetDocuments.
• Work with Azure, Microsoft 365, server infrastructure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Lead client discussions, provide technical guidance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Communicate project status, risks, and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Experience working for an MSP, preferably one specializing in law firms.
• Strong background in project engineering, professional services, and end-to-end IT migrations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, infrastructure, and application implementations.
• Excellent client-facing communication, problem-solving, and project ownership skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with legal technology platforms such as iManage, NetDocuments, and legal document management systems.
• Existing iManage certification or willingness to obtain certification after joining.
• Exposure to AI initiatives, process automation, and enterprise integrations.
