Job summary

Sophus Consulting is seeking a Legal Applications / Product Support Specialist to provide day-to-day support, configuration, and optimization for legal technology platforms. This client-facing role partners with attorneys, legal operations teams, and IT to resolve issues and drive adoption.

You will own triage through resolution, configure matter types, forms, fields, and templates, build workflow rules, manage user roles, and develop reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting legal technology in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Hands-on configuration experience with one or more practice management platforms (ProLaw, Clio, Mitratech, Elite, FileVine, LegalFiles, PracticePanther).
• Strong understanding of legal operations workflows from intake through matter closeout.
• Solid working knowledge of user permissions, access controls, workflow configuration, and operational reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional user-support approach.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day application support and workflow configuration from triage through resolution and release.
• Configure and maintain legal applications across matter types, forms, fields, templates, and layouts.
• Build and maintain workflow rules, automation, notifications, routing logic, and reports.
• Coordinate deployments, testing, go-live activities, and post-release stabilization.
