Job summary

Onward Search is assisting an international law firm in Chicago to hire an AI Adoption Specialist to guide responsible AI deployment within legal workflows. You will train users, promote best practices, and collaborate across practice groups to remove barriers to adoption.

This role emphasizes governance, confidentiality, and compliance while developing educational resources, leading workshops, and enhancing existing processes with AI tools.

Qualifications

• At least three years supporting legal technology adoption, digital transformation, or related change management roles.
• Experience enabling end users with digital and AI-driven tools in regulated or governed environments.
• Ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly and tailor guidance to different user levels.
• Familiarity with responsible AI principles, legal technology, and collaboration tools; quick learner with a strong interest in legal tech.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate efforts to promote the safe adoption of generative AI technologies within legal workflows.
• Interface with practice groups to identify opportunities and address barriers to AI integration, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to clarify AI capabilities, set expectations, and foster responsible use.
• Develop, update, and distribute educational resources like guides, playbooks, and FAQs that emphasize best practices and guardrails.
• Facilitate workshops and onboarding sessions to build user confidence and proficiency in using AI tools effectively.
