Tenaris is seeking a Senior Legal Manager in Houston, TX to provide comprehensive legal advice across its U.S. operations. The role reports to the Legal Senior Director – USA and covers commercial, procurement, regulatory, governance, and litigation matters.

The position is full-time and in-person in Houston. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor and be admitted or eligible to practice in the United States, with at least four years of relevant experience. Texas bar preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; admission to the Texas bar preferred, or willingness to seek Texas admission.
• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department.
• Versatile generalist with experience supporting litigation, transactional, and employment matters.

Responsabilités

• Provide general advice and legal oversight for Tenaris’s U.S. business by collaborating with business functions and global legal teams.
• Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of contracts and legal documents with customers, suppliers, and partners.
• Partner with HR on labor and employment matters and assist in corporate governance initiatives.
• Oversee litigation matters and advise on strategic day-to-day contractual risk management.
• Work with senior management to deliver practical, clear legal guidance and timely client service.

Description:

We are actively recruiting for the role ofSenior Legal Manager, reporting to the Legal Senior Director – USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and advice across Tenaris’ business in the United States. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team that supports a broad range of legal matters, including commercial, procurement, labor and employment, regulatory, corporate governance, and litigation.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide general advice and legal oversight of Tenaris’s business in the United States by working closely with all business functions and liaising with global legal teams as needed


• Work directly with senior management, demonstrating sound judgment, clear and professional communication, practicality, and the ability to manage expectations


• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and other legal documents with customers, suppliers, and other business partners


• Provide timely and responsive client service


• Partner with other functions to draft and review company policies


• Strategic day-to-day responsibility for the resolution of contractual issues, claims and disputes to support the commercial business while mitigating risk


• Assist in preparing standard terms and conditions


• Oversee litigation matters


• Work closely with Human Resources on labor and employment matters


• Oversee corporate governance and implement changes to the corporate structure

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school


• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; admission to the State Bar of Texas preferred, or eligibility and willingness to seek Texas admission


• Minimum of 4 years of legal experience at a top-tier law firm or in an in-house legal department

Skills and Experience:

• Versatile generalist with experience supporting litigation, transactional, and employment matters, and the willingness to manage a wide variety of legal issues across disciplines


• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills


• Strong commercial sense, with practical and proportionate legal advice


• Ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-lawyers


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


• Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs
