Job description

This is one of those rare legal roles that doesn’t show up often.

We’re partnering with a highly respected, boutique legal and fiduciary services organization that works closely with trust companies, financial institutions, and high-net-worth clients.

They’re looking to add an experienced legal professional to support complex trust, estate, and fiduciary matters in a highly collaborative, detail-driven environment.

If you enjoy operating at the intersection of law, finance, and client service, this role offers both intellectual challenge and long-term career stability.

🌟 Why This Role Stands Out:
  • Work on sophisticated trust and estate matters tied to real financial impact
  • Partner directly with attorneys, trustees, financial advisors, CPAs, and fiduciaries
  • Be treated as a true professional contributor, not “back-office support”
  • Exposure to complex assets, trust structures, and financial documentation
  • Stable, respected organization with a strong reputation in fiduciary services
🧠 What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support trust and estate administration matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft and review estate planning and trust-related documents
  • Prepare probate and trust administration filings, pleadings, and supporting materials
  • Coordinate post-death administration, including asset marshaling and notifications
  • Communicate with beneficiaries, trustees, financial institutions, and advisors
  • Review bank statements, accountings, tax documents, and financial records
  • Track deadlines, statutory requirements, and compliance obligations
  • Maintain highly organized case files and prepare reports for leadership
  • Assist with fiduciary accountings and distributions
  • Partner cross-functionally with legal, trust, and financial services teams
  • Experience in trusts & estates, probate, fiduciary administration, or financial services
  • Prior exposure to trust companies, wealth management firms, or financial institutions is a major plus
  • Strong understanding of estate administration processes and compliance
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Professional communication style with confidence working with HNW clients
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently
Nice to Have (Not Required):
  • Experience with fiduciary accountings or estate/gift tax filings
  • Familiarity with complex assets (real estate, business interests, investment accounts)
  • Background supporting attorneys in trust or probate matters
🌱 The Environment

This is a place where legal professionals are respected for their judgment, included in the process, and trusted with meaningful responsibility. You’ll work alongside seasoned professionals who value precision, collaboration, and professionalism—without the bureaucracy of large firms.
